Adapted from the beloved The Faraway Tree series of novels for children, THE MAGIC FARAWAY TREE follows Polly and Tim and their children Beth, Joe, and Fran. This modern family finds itself forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. Soon after their arrival, the children discover a magical tree and its extraordinary and eccentric residents such as the treasured characters Moonface, Silky, Dame Wash-a-lot and Saucepan Man.
THE MAGIC FARAWAY TREE stars Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Nicola Coughlan, Jennifer Saunders and Rebecca Ferguson and is written by Simon Farnaby (Wonka, Paddington 2) and is directed by Ben Gregor (Britannia, Cuckoo, Black Ops). The film releases nationally on March 26, 2026.

Great event all round, I am also not into these kind of kid movies, but it thoroughly surprised me.
Just magical, a visual feast and was fun to watch with my daughter (it is our favourite booK)
