Horns of Leroy return to the Brunswick Music Festival in triumphant style — back on their original stomping ground for a homecoming show like no other.
Closing the festival in a blaze of brass, Melbourne’s premier horn-driven powerhouse will unleash their raucous, New Orleans-inspired energy in full force. Since 2013, they’ve built a reputation for unstoppable momentum and rock-solid musicianship, lighting up stages everywhere from the Melbourne Cricket Ground to Splendour in the Grass, Dark Mofo to Hamer Hall.
Setting the tone for the night is Jake Amy — a Naarm-based pianist, producer and composer whose genre-blurring sound fuses jazz, electronics and contemporary improvisation. Through lush textures and bold sonic storytelling, Amy crafts immersive performances that explore queer identity and expansive musical possibility.
