A warm and engaging performer, Roisin McAlinden takes the audience on a personal journey from her homeland to Australia, weaving her love story through the show. While her natural charm and frequent laughter draw you in, the narrative begins to lose focus as the relationship at its center fades. Despite her clear talent and presence, the piece is clearly autobiographical and would benefit from more laugh out loud moments.
A very candid and engaging reflection on how fairy tales shape our understanding of relationships. Roisin McAlinden is a talented performer oozing with natural charm and with a knack for making you feel like you're having a banter with friends instead of seeing a show.
