Takács Quartet & Angie Milliken (Musica Viva)
A highlight of MVA's 80th year, this tour is a tribute to MVA's founders featuring a world premiere from Australian composer Cathy Milliken, inspired by Bertholt Brecht’s Sonnet in Emigration, narrated by Australian actor Angie Milliken, and welcomes the pre-eminent, multi-award winning string quartet Takács Quartet back to Australia as part of their own 50th anniversary world tour. Expect music to console, to inspire and to make sense of an ever-shifting world.
