THE RULE OF JENNY PEN

THE RULE OF JENNY PEN

THE RULE OF JENNY PEN tells the story of Stefan Mortensen (Geoffrey Rush), a former judge who suffers a stroke and is confined to a nursing home, where he becomes the target of a manipulative and sinister fellow resident named Dave Crealy (John Lithgow), who uses a seemingly harmless baby doll called Jenny Pen to terrorize and control the other residents, exploiting his facade of dementia to inflict psychological abuse and torment upon them, forcing Stefan to confront his own powerlessness and fight back against the insidious control of Jenny Pen in this secluded and vulnerable environment.

Lithgow and Rush excellent performance in a thriller that may be happening right now in someone else's life. Strange and horrifying to think about, but still great as a film art.

Fantastic acting. Uncomfortable story by virtue of it's frighteningly real life possibilities. Gives one food for thought.

I found this film quite disturbing.
Not the genre I normally enjoy.
However my nephew who came with me really enjoyed it.

Outstanding acting. Too real about a frightening topic of being unders control when older
I am 71 so hit a raw nerve but perhaps that may have been due to incredible acting

A really outstanding movie with brilliant acting by both Rush and Lithgow. A very edgy phycological thriller that everyone can relate to with aging family and a must see for all. I cannot hesitate in recommending this film as it is 5 stars all the way.

What an edgy movie—very confronting at times. It’s not the type of film I would normally choose, but I truly enjoyed it. The cast was incredible, with brilliant performances from the actors. I highly recommend this thrilling movie!
