On Christmas Eve, a family gathers for what could be the last holiday in their ancestral home. As the night wears on and generational tensions arise, one of the teenagers sneaks out with her friends to claim the wintry suburb for her own.

Love this movie, really funny but also touching
I’m sorry to say this was very boring. We were desperately waiting for something to happen. Anything. But it was really more like an inside look at a regular Christmas Day

Under cover of the chaos of an extended family gathering on Christmas Eve the movie touches on many issues relating to family and it's individuals. This ranges from placing aging members into care, selling the family home, generational schisms, individuals mental anguish and suppressed talents. The film touches on them but doesn't expand or explore them. Could have been so much better, probably asking a bit of one night though.
