Must see theatre by acclaimed writer and director Mashaka Gunnulson, featuring Adam Marks at the lead.
In delicate meditation on the passage of time, the frailty of life, and that which anchors each of us as we sail along the murky and tumultuous waters of experience. Victory Lap invites you to sit by the ocean and listen to the waves; reflecting on the people you thought you’d become, those you have lost and those you have loved.
Sometimes you lose them.
Sometimes you lose them all at once.
Sometimes, from a great distance.
Sometimes you don’t even realise you’ve lost them until you turn around to look and all that is left is you.
Sometimes, try as you might to hold on, the rope snags and splits and goes limp in your hands, and you lose them anyway.
This new work is developed on Bunurong and Wurundjeri country and presented by the award-winning creative team at Pansy Productions. This project received Cash for Equity through the Fringe Fund, as part of the Ralph Mclean Microgrants program
