Playwright, Marty MonStar is a prolific Ballarat-based writer, and this, his newest play was recently accepted to take part in the Australian Cultural's Funds BOOST program, meaning that the money we raised to present this rehearsed reading was be doubled, thanks to the Australian Cultural Fund and Creative Australia.
The night will be filled with 1920's tunes (some playing from original vinyl) including Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holliday, Miles Davis, Bessie Smith, Jelly Roll Morton, Kid Ory, Count Bassie and more. Drinks available at bar prices.

Long and wordy. A couple of disjointed storylines that didn't appear to relate to the main story and it extended the show time. Some reading could have been better. For a first time reading of a play that's still a long way from being finessed, it wasn't great value.
