Buena Vista Social Club Tribute night
Following an unforgettable last performance the ‘Buena Vista Social Club’ tribute will return to Brunswick Ballroom with a special night of traditional Cuban music.
After sell out nights in Sydney and in Melbourne, this special concert celebrates the ground breaking ’Buena Vista Social Club’ artists Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez, Omara Portuondo and Eliades Ochoa paying tribute to legends of timeless traditional Cuban music.
This will be a memorable experience featuring a Sydney based 11 piece band comprising of some of Australia’s best Latin music exponents from bands such as ‘Mucho Mambo’, Joe Bataan band, ‘Felix Baloy’, Cecilia Noel band, ‘Malo Malo’, and ‘San Lazaro’, as well as from theatre shows ‘In the heights’, ‘Come from away’, ‘Burn the floor’, and ‘Dirty dancing’

What a wonderful fun night! The musicians were fabulous, the singers energetic and enthusiastic. I have missed Latin dancing and so very much enjoyed dancing cha cha, salsa, cumbia and listening to the boleros.
Loved that the crowd danced. Almost as captivating as the band.
