International Women’s Day 2023

This year Suzanne Phoenix’s 2023 ’What Does International Women’s Day Mean to Me?’ project will be launched with a fabulous event featuring some of Melbourne's amazing women, and gender diverse people - artists, musicians, burlesque and queer performers, DJ’s, actors drag kings and a pro-wrester.

The lineup includes Jess Hitchcock, Rebecca Barnard, Ruby Jones, Madeline Leman, Penny Ikinger, Simone Page Jones, Alana Wilson, Deb Lord, Milo Hartill, Whisky Falls and Vixsin. Our fabulous MC will be Jessi.

The event includes a Photographic Portrait exhibition in the Brunswick Ballroom Foyer and Brunswick Artist Bar. A subversive series of raw and honest portraits in its 12thyear which also features Alanna Oliver, Linda J, Alexis Desaulniers-Lea, Bumpy, Jacey Ashton, Kira Puru, Leah Senior, Maude Davey, Olympia, Paris Wells, Zali King and Xani Kolac.
