What if you lived in a world where divorce was compulsory? But you were still in love?
Lifelong love is unbearable. In this dystopian world where all marriages must end at 13 years, a couple fights to stay together for love.
Kate and Rupert live in a world where love is not forever …in their world as life expectancy has grown from 35 to 85, those extra 50 years make lifelong marriage unendurable: awful in fact. So, by law, everyone must divorce after 13 years.
BUT Kate and Rupert are in love.

The idea was fantastic, but it did not really come to fruition. How did they really fight for love? Great cast and the performance was strong, but it just didn't deliver on what I thought it was going to.
The cast did as well as they could with what they had to work with.

A fast paced production with a thought provoking theme. The cast were energetic with clear voices and may benefit from more spoken dialogue to help expand on the story. Overall, an enjoyable evening out.

Very interesting and funny musical about times we (might) live in and how to handle love. At times touching and moving, this is a humorous musical to watch.

Performance by cast was highly entertaining, hilarious and fun to watch. Strong female and male voices throughout. Highly enjoyable show !

Not as good as I was expecting. Fairly entertaining with some funny moments and a few strong female cast members.
Fantastic actors, entertaining and comfortably risqué. Some great humorous scenes with lots of energy and great choreography. Storyline sounded promising but didn't quite deliver. Would definitely recommend for a good night out.
Started with a lot of humour and fun. First act was delightful and pushed the story on well. Second act needs some work to bring it to a great closure.
Some terrific original songs here with some fantastic voices. Absolutely terrific number by the shows amazing dancer.
Worth a watch. Cannot wait to see this again once developed further.

Cast was well rehearsed and giving their all to the show. Tight orchestra and some terrific harmonies. The storyline...not so sure but did have some make you think moments

This show deserves to be playing to packed houses every night.

The show was thought-provoking providing an interesting late afternoon's entertainment. Several strong singers and original songs that were clear to understand which was good as they helped to drive the storyline.
Great to be at the Iconic Alex Theatre for its first major musical since Covid. The cast were exceptionally good, terrific songs, and a thought provoking story line. Well worth seeing

The musical was surprisingly very good. The songs were quite catchy and original. The whole musical was one of a kind. We really enjoyed it with my husband.
