Since 2015, Bruce Glen, The Gentleman Magician has been enchanting and amazing audiences at his weekly Magical Soirées. Reminiscent of the captivating events of the famous ‘salons’ in 19th century Europe, this has become a ‘must see’ event for locals and international visitors. Bruce Glen is one of the select few admitted as an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle - the most exclusive magic club on earth (with just 1400 members worldwide).

Now listed at #2 on TripAdvisor’s Top 50 Concerts & Shows (Sydney Opera House is #1), The Gentleman Magician’s Magical Soirée is also the recipient of a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Guests are greeted with champagne & gourmet canapés, before being transported back to a time when performers were summoned to entertain Europe’s elite in the parlours of their grand salons. This is an entrancing evening of world class magic and captivating Australian stories.

The Gentleman Magician is homed at the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay. Built in 1896 and lovingly restored and maintained, the Sir Stamford is one of Sydney’s most beautiful heritage-listed buildings. Regularly awarded for its outstanding service and facilities, the hotel features 18th Century Louis XV and Georgian antiques, and houses one of Australia’s largest private collections of fine art.
