Following it's sell-out success at the 2016 Art & Industry Festival, Industrial Fashion is back! Williamstown Town Hall will again open its doors for an extraordinary night of fashion and performance. Some of our most daring and innovative fashion makers have drawn inspiration from the architecture that surrounds us to reinvent our built environment in a wild and wearable form. From the cutting edge of the cutting table, Industrial Fashion is an energetic, exuberant and eye-popping theatrical event. BYO food. Drinks available at bar prices.

Unsure of what to expect, both my wife and I were blown away by the creativity, imagination and breadth of the fashion. As a couple that grew up separately in the Western Suburbs the evening presented us with a new vision into the various industries that shaped our youth, the meat works, the glassworks, dockyard, railways, petrochem companies, all places where either members of our families or friends worked. The creators used these staples of our beloved West to create extraordinary creations beautifully made, crafted and presented. The setting, music, staging and lighting were what one might expect to see at a major Melbourne Fashion Show. The tables are set out like a cabaret show, allowing small or large groups to gather and share a plate while enjoying drinks from the bar at reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and get along on either Saturday or Sunday. A fantastic evening out!
