CHRIS MCNULTY PRESENTS: THE MUSIC FROM ETERNAL

A tribute to her son’s life, Chris McNulty’s Eternal features unique treatments of classics re-imagined in a new light. McNulty’s ability to connect powerfully with song lyrics is exquisitely showcased, which melds the sounds of chamber ensemble with jazz quartet.

The chamber ensemble features some of Australia’s finest classical and jazz musicians performing Steve Newcomb’s seamlessly woven, finely crafted orchestrations and promises to be a moving, magical experience.

This show is part of Stonnington Jazz Festival 2016.

It was nothing to remember

Loved it. We are lucky indeed to have such a uniquely beautiful performer home after 30 years in New York. Chris sings with a mellow purity, integrity, and humility that is rare and transformative. Complemented by talented musicians, it was also good to hear Mark Fitzgibbon again after a long soujourn in China. Chris deserves to be celebrated and supported so give her a burl.
